What is an Unlawful Carry? Unfortunately for many visitors to the Myrtle Beach area they are asking that question for the first time while being arrested. The reason many are charged is because while they are carrying their firearm in accordance with their home state’s laws, as soon as they cross the border into South Carolina that same conduct becomes a criminal offense.
